I think I will play copycat and do a little "hello, let's be friends" intro, since it is strange to dive on into real life...

Hello, my name is Jordan. And please, meet my hubsters A.

We live in Anchorage, Alaska because my hubs is in the Air Force.

8 months down, 30 to go.

Obviously, I have a love/hate relationship with Alaska.

Right now I am teetering on hate due to the fact that I shoveled snow for 2 hours yesterday and my back is still hurting.

Some days, the mountains take my breath away or I will see a moose and remember that I am truly lucky to have these experiences.

Those days are far and few between.

I am blogging because my best bud in the whole wide world told me so and I would jump off a cliff if she told me to!!

The best thing about Anchorage is making snow cream 6 months out of the year. Worst, $600 plane tickets to go anywhere warm.

I have two dogs that act as my children for at least the next 2 years of my life. But I understand that I will love my children one day more than I love my dogs. If only for the reason that hearing "ma-ma" will be way more exciting than hearing dear-ole Willard bark his little heart out at 2 in the morning.

I am worn out right now and craving my bed and the book I am reading. (Empire, Orson Scott Card)
